1. What is TopFamous100.com about?

     The idea is to raise $5 million by selling “famous” advertising for all kinds of advertising type with a price starting from $1. From now on, there is a new and quick way to be famous. Fame and everything related to fame/celebrity can now be achieved. It may sound crazy, but yes, fame can be bought. Everyone can become famous just by the click of a finger. The achievement is made through US Dollars (We chose US dollars instead of other currencies because we thought that the dollar is the most stable currency at this moment and widely-spread in transactions). The entire concept is like a game based on an auction system. When buying fame, you will be placed in descendent order, depending on the amount of the payment. Let's take an example: Costumer A decides to buy fame worth $10. The system will automatically place his famous banner on the 1st position. Costumer B wants to be more famous than Costumer A so he will need to pay for his banner more than $10 in order to get on top of Costumer A's place. The minimum purchase to get famous starts from $1 for your banner, but this will not guarantee that you will get on the topfamous100 list. For example, if the last position from top 100 has a bid of $50 and you decide to buy a famous banner worth $49 (or a smaller amount), your famous banner will get on the history list, where it will be available for 30 more days. The initial amount of money you have paid will be stored and if you wish to extend the ad with 30 more days, just $1 more is needed. So, being famous for 1 month is a pretty good deal. Moreover, it’s the cheapest way of getting famous.

2. Is my FAMOUS banner only displayed on the homepage (Famelist)? 

     No. For extended exposure, your ad not only shows up on the topfamous100 homepage. If you get outbid from top 100 list, your ad will then be displayed on the history list for 30 days. In case you will need to extend your ad with another 30 days, only $1 more is needed. Of course, if you want to get back on the top100 fame list, maybe you will need more than $1.

     Yes, we are completely genuine. For some it may seem like a joke, but it’s not. Being famous seems pretty fabulous and it’s a matter of fact that everyone secretly wants to be famous. We are really selling fame via our TopFamous100.com website and helping people to be famous or just more famous than they already are. Hopefully, this site will reach a huge amount of traffic in the next decade, and it’s just the best way of promoting you, your business, or just your pet in an original manner. It’s a win-win situation.

4. Who are you? Why $5 million? What will you do with the money?

      We are two ordinary guys that are willing to accomplish our dream in an out of the ordinary way. We wanted to come up with a unique idea that would catch people’s attention. As everyone likes crazy ideas, we thought that this could be something crazy enough to work. So, with “Aim High” being our partner, we thought that $5 million would be our magic number and why not give it a try to the untried. In this way, we would like to offer to a lot of people the chance to compete in this famous race on our website. The money cap will sustain the race for a longer period of time. Moreover, when all the money will be raised, 10% of the money will be forwarded to 10 well-known international charitable foundations (1% per organization). We will post more details about the organizations we have chosen to support on a separate page.

Secondly, we have plenty of new things to come up with. This world needs fresh and creative ideas. There are things that have not been discovered yet or some of them just need to be approached from another point of view. We believe that without creativity there would be no progress, and today, in a world that is based on money, the result would be: ideas without finance, slowly advance.      Everything on the internet is changing so fast, so it will be great to have something that stays permanent for years. When the website will reach the $5 million target, the mainpage (Famelist) will freeze with the last 100 finalists and it will stay there forever. The History page will last 30 more days, and after that it will be erased. Our plan is to make the website to be online until the end of time. You can own a slice of fame forever!

6. What image types and sizes can I use? 

     Your image must be a GIF, JPG, PNG or BMP (although we recommend the use of GIF or JPG) and the file size must not exceed 256kb.

There is no restriction on the banner size of the original image itself, but it will be displayed on the web page with a width and height to match the size of your banner ad. To avoid pixellation or distortion, which can occur when browsers try to resize an image, we recommend that the original image that you upload matches the size of 728x90.

7. How much does it cost to be famous?

     Prices start from $1 for 1 famous banner. The maximum price is everything that is left until $5 million.

8. How do I pay for my famous banner?

     Topfamous100.com  uses Paypal.com to process transactions. Paypal is safe and secure to use for both parties, it is very simple to use and it’s free. You do not need to have a Paypal account to use Paypal.

Paypal accepts Visa, Maestro, Switch, Mastercard, Visa Electron, Delta and Amex.
